Tack House of Lola!

Finfint material!

-Tack!!

A week ago we received a large amount of material from the Swedish clothing brand House of Lola

They contacted us and wanted to know if we wanted to take care of some bags of clothes that they would otherwise throw away.
The clothes are mostly brand new but as they do not meet the quality standards  the company does not want them to end up on second hand market a that would not be good for the brand value.

This puts light on the dilemma many producers of clothes face - what to do with apparel that does not  reach the quality requirements? It could be claims, pieces that are wrongly stitched or are not color fast (we have mentioned this before in a post from a trip to India in Feb 2013).

We are happy that House of Lola contacted us and of course we said e would take the material…after a couple of runs between Enköping and Stockholm we now have another 200-300 kgs of mixed materials, mostly jersey. Definetley worth a better end to the life cycle than to be burnt.
Great material in fact!

-Thank you!!
