Kan en matta samtidigt vara ett täcke? Vi tänker att rent funktionellt så fungerar en picknickpläd som en matta som bygger ett rum där man vill stanna upp och vara. Är inte det då en matta?
I många länder sitter man på mattan på golvet när man äter och umgås. Vore det då inte bekvämt att ha något mjukt under mattan? Kanske kan man möblera en hel sittgrupp under mattan.
Vi tycker det är intressant när en matta inbjuder till någon form av aktivitet. Här känns det som om man leka runt eller halvligga och småsnacka.
Tre fina färdigstickade stycken har vi fått från Indien. Funderar över om vi ska foga ihop dem på längden eller bredden.
Sweep under the carpet?
We place the knitted plaids next to each other and place cushions/shapes underneath.
Can a rug at the same time be a blanket? We are thinking that a picnic blanket has the function of a rug, that creates a room in aplace you wish to spend some time. Isn't it then a rug?
In many countries the floor is a place to eat and socialize. Wouldn't it be an idea to place something soft under the rug. Maybe a a group of sofas and arm chairs could be swept under the rug.
We find it interesting when the rug invites to some sort of activity. On these knitted pieces you just want to play around or hang.
We have recieved three beautiful pieces of throw from India and are thinking if they should be joined on the width or the length.
